Brief Photography History
Daniel started his passion for photography in 1990 where he served as his yearbook photographer for the next 4 years. During this time he took professional classes and learned to shoot on film cameras in a time when you got it right in camera or you didn't have a shot at all. Although his love of photography has never left him and he has always owned at least one camera, getting married, getting his doctorate degree, raising his two girls, and life in general did not permit him to pursue his career in photography. It wasn't until 2011 after making the decision to move to the Dominican Republic (y si, se habla espanol) with his family that he also chose to open his studio full time. His studio quickly grew, and he, his wife, and his girls recently made the decision to move their services back to the Upstate of South Carolina. This move has allowed him to build his studio in Greenville, SC, travel out of state, and still shoot weddings internationally. Living in the Dominican Republic, where his wife is from, allowed him to be immersed in a beautiful culture and country and to learn to speak Spanish fluently. Photography and excellence in his work are very important to him and to Oriana, but meeting people and forming lasting relationships with them is just as important. Consistent with this drive is their emphasis on communication to ensure high quality in his product and ensure that his clients' visions are captured beautifully.
The Love of Weddings
Of all the types of photography that Daniel and Oriana do, weddings have become their favorite and most anticipated shoots. There is something magical and emotional about weddings, and they never get old. Daniel and his wife consider it a privilege to participate in such an intimate and special time in every couple's wedding that they are contracted to shoot. They do not view weddings as just another session, but an important moment in people's lives that must be carefully, uniquely, and artfully captured. With this in mind, they do offer packages for weddings, but individually tailor each wedding to their client's needs. Daniel realizes that his style and passion for photography is unique and his services are not for everyone. If his style and photos capture your heart and vision, then please let him know how he can be a part of your big day.
Equipment and Prints
Because Daniel and Oriana offer only the best product to their clients, they has invested in the best camera equipment to do the job. Their cameras and lenses consist of Canon's newest full frame and crop-sensor cameras and top of the line L-series lenses to ensure high quality in their work. But having this equipment means nothing if you do not know how to use it, since photography is a balance of art and science. Not only is he knowledgable, but he also teaches classes and instructs others how to master their cameras and equipment. Additionally, Daniel has partnered with Miller's Professional Print Lab to provide his clients with high quality Wedding Albums, wall art, and prints that they can enjoy for years to come. Although Daniel offers his clients the rights and ownership of all of their photos that he takes, many clients choose to print through his professional services to maintain the high quality of the end product. Let them know how they can serve you!
